2AM features three veterans of the local music scene, and a very talented newcomer. The amount of sonic ground they cover as a four piece is simply UNBELIEVABLE. The band features Kayce (amazing lead vocalist and performer extraordinaire), Mark (curator of the gracious overdriven melodies), Zo (master of the bottom end), and Toby (a drummer so dangerous he is kept in a cage). Kayce - Lead Vocals
Kayce's singing debut began at the age of 5 when she sang her first solo, "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow", to her kindergarten class. From a young age she was obsessed with musicals such as Annie, Oklahoma, and Bye Bye Birdy. She not only loves singing, but also preforming and putting on a good show. When Kayce isn't on a stage there is a hole in her life. Singing with 2AM has been a new and exciting experience for her and she couldn't be happier playing with her awesome band mates.
Mark - Guitar & Vocals
Mark has loved music since the tender age of 4. Rocking a tennis racket to KISS was just the beginning of a musical journey that continues to this day. Mark listens to a lot of different styles of music, and appreciates good musicianship and being inspired by other guitarists. Some of his early guitar heroes were Ace Frehley, Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen, and Randy Rhoads, but the guitar player who inspired him to pick up the instrument was George Lynch, a player with a very unique style and tone.
Mark has played in a variety of cover and original music bands. He has fun with both types, as he just enjoys playing guitar and feeling the 'power of the music'. Being a part of the Madison music scene is very inspiring for Mark, as there are many talented musicians AND monster guitar players in the area. 2AM is really fresh and exciting for Mark, as he plays alongside great talents AND great people.
Zo - Bass & Vocals
Music has always been a part of Zo’s life. There was music always playing during the younger years. Zo took piano lessons at age 6 but it didn’t click so he moved to guitars. Eventually he fell in love with the old blues and started playing Bass.
He was involved with numerous cover bands throughout the years in the Madison/Edgerton area.
Zo was offered the chance to play a News Years Eve show with 2AM and immediately knew that this was the band he wanted to be part of. In the summer of 2023, the opportunity presented itself. Zo joined
the band with three of the most talented musicians in the Madison area. Zo is looking forward to many years of music with this group of amazing people.
